We found Bacchus on the Beach in Pass Christian, Mississippi, a while back, and it’s been our go-to ever since. They have this fantastic, huge outdoor covered bar and dining area that’s just perfect for catching the sea breeze. It’s such a relaxed vibe out there. If you’re looking to cool off a bit, there’s also a cozy indoor dining area.
You absolutely, positively have to try their oysters. We almost always get the oyster combo—it’s a great way to try a few different kinds. Honestly, every single seafood item we’ve ordered has been really good and super reasonably priced. And don’t even get me started on their daily specials! They’re excellent and incredibly cheap. My parents are famous for eating there several days in a row, just working their way through the different specials.
We seriously can’t recommend Bacchus enough. It’s truly a gem on the coast and definitely worth the drive across the bay bridge.
