guest guidebook

We want to make sure all of our guests have a great stay.  My wife and I travel fairly frequently for work and have spent more than a few nights in homes that weren’t ours.  It’s the little unknowns that make a rental feel strange and keep you from enjoying a home to its full potential. We also know that a good understanding between the guest and host can help ease some of the stress that a guest feels in a home that isn’t theirs.  We want to give you all the information needed so that you can relax, know how to use everything in the house, enjoy your stay and know what the expectations are.

House Rules

  1. No Smoking – If you smoke or vape, make sure you keep it outside please.
  2. Keep the Sand Outside – Do your best to clean off anyone or anything that has been to the beach before coming back inside the house. There should be a water hose in the front flowerbed with a spray nozzle to help you clean off.
  3. Don’t Park in the Yard – Sandy soil and frequent rain make the yard soft and susceptible to tire ruts. Help us keep the property looking good by keeping vehicles off the grass.
  4. Register Any Pets – We do allow pets but we require an additional pet cleaning fee of $50.
  5. Keep Us Informed – If you have any issues please contact us. We want to know if there is anything not working so we can get it repaired as soon as possible for you and any future guests.
  6. Have A Great Time!!!

We know that you probably have a long drive home after your stay, so we’ve tried to keep our checkout procedure as simple as possible.

Our cleaning crew is the best!  It takes a lot of work to clean and disinfect the house in the short amount of time between guests. If you have time, starting a load of towels in the washing machine and a load of dishes in the dishwasher before you leave really helps them out. This is not a required part of check out but is greatly appreciated.
