When my wife Dana and I are wrapping up a long day or just relaxing on the coast, one of our absolute favorite spots to grab dinner is Juan Tequilas, located right off Highway 90 in Waveland. If you are just driving by, you might almost miss it because of the incredibly unassuming building, but don’t let the simple exterior fool you. The moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere and some of the friendliest, fastest service in town. It is a true local staple that we always recommend to our guests at Henley House who are craving authentic, comforting Mexican food, at a good price, in a laid-back setting.
We love this place because its inexpensive, good, and open later than a lot of other restaurants. We always have a few top recommendations ready to go for people interested. Dana always orders one of their mango margaritas and you absolutely have to try the quesabirria, and but we’ve tried many of the items on the menus and have all been good.
